New school year 2026/2027 at II LO in Bolesławiec. Award for the best graduate

The school year 2026/2027 has begun at II LO named after Janusz Korczak in Bolesławiec. The school welcomed students, teachers, and invited guests.

At the Janusz Korczak II High School in Bolesławiec, the new school year 2026/2027 was ceremoniously inaugurated. For the school community, it was a day of greetings, reunions after the summer break, and presenting plans for the upcoming months of learning and work.

The ceremony was attended by students, parents, teachers, and invited guests, including representatives of local authorities, uniformed services, Wrocław University of Technology, and institutions cooperating with the school. Among those present was, among others, a member of the Bolesławiec County Board Alina Zarębecka, representatives of uniformed services, and other distinguished guests.

The director of II LO   Mirosław Sakowski welcomed everyone and summarized the results of the recruitment and this year's matura exams. An important point of the ceremony was the recognition of the best graduate. Milena Rajczakowska received a commemorative diploma and a prize of 500 PLN, funded by the Parents' Council. The best graduate of II LO receives the title „Primus Inter Pares”.

The new school year also brings new organizational and educational opportunities for the institution. At the II High School in Bolesławiec, four first-year classes have been established: mathematical-biological-chemical, humanities, uniformed, and a class focused on cybersecurity and modern information technologies. The latter operates under the MON program „Cyber Mil with Class”.

The director thanked the students and parents for choosing the Janusz Korczak II High School in Bolesławiec. He also assured that the school would take actions aimed at best preparing the youth for the matura exam and the next stage of education.

Another year of intensive work lies ahead for students and teachers, but also a chance to develop interests, gain knowledge, and achieve success in academics, culture, and sports. The community of II LO in Bolesławiec begins the school year with new plans, challenges, and opportunities for development.
