Traffic accident in Zebrzydowa. 14-year-old on a motorcycle collided with a 13-year-old on a scooter

Two minors with serious injuries were taken to the hospital in Legnica.

In Zebrzydowa in the Bolesławiec County, on August 31, a serious traffic incident occurred involving two minors. A motorcycle and a scooter collided. The motorcycle was ridden by a 14-year-old, while the scooter was operated by a 13-year-old.

According to preliminary findings, the 13-year-old on the scooter likely cut off the 14-year-old riding the motorcycle. The exact circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police.

Both participants in the incident sustained serious injuries. According to initial reports, there may have been broken arms. The injured were transported by ambulances to a hospital in Legnica.

The police are conducting activities to determine the causes of the accident and are checking whether the minors had the necessary permissions to operate the vehicles they were using. Since the incident involved minors, the family court will handle the case.
